Tourists can enter the National Park either on elephant back or
in a jeep. While elephant rides are possible only from
Mihimukh in the Central Range and from Bagori in the Western

the Eastern Range from Agaratoli. Both jeep safari and elephant
rides are possible in the morning and early evenings when the
animals are most active. It is mandatory for tourists to ensure
that a Forest Department's guide accompanies them.
Since there is only limited facility for elephant rides it is
advisable that prior reservations are made.
