Overview

The two hotspots of Assam, one being Kaziranga and the other, biggest River Island in the World, Majuli.
A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaziranga, also home to the endangered One Horned Rhinoceros is an exciting experience in itself.
Elephant and Jeep Safari through the wilderness and spotting various wild animals and birds in their natural habitat is a treat to Wildlife lovers.
Further, a visit to the Island of Majuli, a place of natural beauty and rich culture will transport you to a different world of serenity.
Away from the fast-paced life of the city, this place will take you closer to nature, enjoying the ferry ride, visiting the Satras, Simple walk through the village, exploring the culture, lifestyle and cuisine of the local tribes, the simple act of sitting by the riverbank and watch the sunset will soothe your soul.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station-Head to Kaziranga

Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station drive to Kaziranga.
On the way stop by a scenic place for lunch.

Check-in to the Hotel/Resort at Kaziranga.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 2

Exploring Kaziranga

Start early for Elephant Safari. Return to stay location for breakfast. After breakfast, head to visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park.

Later after lunch experience jeep safari in the Western range/ Central Range of Kaziranga.

Night stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3

Kaziranga to Majuli

After breakfast head to our next destination, the river Island, Majuli, to explore the serene and scenic river Island.

Drive till Nimati Ghat Jorhat, take the ferry ride till Kamalabari Ghat (Majuli Island).

On arrival at Kamalabari Ghat drive to our hotel or homestay.

Day 4

An exciting day in Majuli

Post breakfast explore the Island of Majuli and the villages. Visit the local craftsmen and explore the mask culture of Majuli, visit the Satras(Vaishnavite Institutions)

(Kamalabari Satra/Dakhinpat Satra/Garmur Satra). Also, not forget to visit the Molai Reserve Forest created by Padmashree Jadhav Payeng and named after him.

At evening we can enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Day 5

Let's head to Guwahati

After breakfast, set out for Guwahati.

On arrival at Guwahati check in to the hotel and relax.

Night stay at Guwahati.

Day 6

Time to Bid Adieu!!

Early morning drive to Kamakhya Temple for the darshan.

Return to hotel for breakfast and check out.

Head to Guwahati Airport/ Station for departure.
