Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station-Head to Kaziranga

Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport/ Railway Station drive to Kaziranga.
On the way stop by a scenic place for lunch.

Check-in to the Hotel/Resort at Kaziranga.

Overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 2

Exploring Kaziranga

Start early for Elephant Safari. Return to stay location for breakfast. After breakfast, head to visit the Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park.

Later after lunch experience jeep safari in the Western range/ Central Range of Kaziranga.

Night stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3

Kaziranga to Dirang

Post breakfast, drive to Dirang. En-route, visit the famous Tippi Orchid Research Centre.

After exploring the orchid yard, resume our drive to Dirang, visit the kiwi and apple farm.

Dinner and overnight at a homestay/Hotel in picturesque Dirang Valley.

Day 4

Dirang to Tawang

Start early morning, drive to Tawang. Halt by the amazing Sela Pass (around 13,700ft above sea level), enjoy the mesmerizing view of the mighty Himalayas. Visit Jaswantgarh Museum - a war memorial that commemorates Jaswant Singh Rawat, an Indian Rifleman of 4 Garhwal Rifles martyred during 1962 Indo-China war.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

Day 5

Visit to Bum La

Post breakfast explore Bum La, around 25 km from Tawang. Bum La Pass has an immense historical significance. It was Bum La where the 1962 Sino Indian War took place. Also visit the famous Madhuri Lake, known initially as Sangestar Tso Lake. The lake was renamed after the filming of the Bollywood movie - Koyla, featuring the veteran actress, Madhuri Dixit.

Night Stay at a hotel in Tawang.

Day 6

A Day in Tawang- Visiting the Monasteries

Post breakfast visit Tawang Monastery, the world’s second largest and Buddhist monastery and Urgelling Monastery, the birthplace of  Tsangyang Gyatso, the Sixth Dalai Lama. After lunch, visit Thuk Choening Nunnery.

In the evening leisurely explore Tawang market.

Overnight stay at a hotel in Tawang.

Day 7

Drive to Bomdilla

Post breakfast, start our drive to Bomdila - headquarters of West Kameng in Arunachal Pradesh.Upon arrival, check-in to our homestay/hotel and freshen-up, and take rest.

In the evening, visit Lower Gompha and Local Market in Bomdila.

Day 8

Time to Bid Adieu

Post breakfast drive to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for Departure.
